Lead Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance enterprise security measures, the full-time Lead Information Security Engineer will design and implement security controls across various platforms, serve as a technical resource for security technologies, and provide mentorship to other engineers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise security controls across infrastructure, cloud platforms, and networks
• Manage and support enterprise security platforms, ensuring operational health and integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into operational processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field preferred
• 5-8 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity engineering roles
• Experience leading security engineering initiatives in enterprise environments
• Industry-recognized security or cloud certifications (SANS, ISC2, AWS, Azure, or equivalent) are preferred
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GLBA, and CIS Controls
