Lead Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for protecting the organization's digital ecosystem, the full-time remote Lead Information Security Engineer will manage security operations, incident response, and regulatory compliance across product development, manufacturing, and enterprise IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead detection and response for incidents affecting manufacturing systems and connected medical devices
• Partner with IT and engineering to embed secure-by-design principles across the product lifecycle
• Implement Zero Trust principles and drive vulnerability management across corporate IT and manufacturing environments

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in regulated industries or manufacturing environments
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/XDR platforms and incident response programs
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or GICSP
