Lead Instructional Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Instructional Designer to create innovative and accessible digital learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with authors and subject matter experts to define digital learning experiences and create exemplars
• Lead training for digital authors on authoring tools to ensure sound instructional design principles
• Monitor industry trends and guide the instructional design team in applying advancements to improve products

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of applicable experience in instructional, interactive, or UX design, preferably in an educational context
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with knowledge of multimedia learning theory
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, including training teams on digital authoring tools
• Experience authoring accessible digital content and using tools like Captivate and Articulate Storyline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and understanding of HTML and CSS
