Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead, Insurance Verification Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide team members while providing oversight and training
- Verify patient insurance coverage and complete necessary documentation for eligibility and authorization
- Resolve escalated issues and maintain communication with patients and insurance companies
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
- Three (3) years of experience in healthcare administration, financial services, or insurance customer service
- Experience with HME claims preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plan methodologies preferred
- Proficient in computer skills and familiar with EMR systems
