Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead, Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide team members while providing oversight and training
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and complete necessary documentation for eligibility and authorization
  • Resolve escalated issues and maintain communication with patients and insurance companies
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience in healthcare administration, financial services, or insurance customer service
  • Experience with HME claims preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plan methodologies preferred
  • Proficient in computer skills and familiar with EMR systems
