Lead Intellectual Property Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intellectual Property Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive the legal strategy for the company's IP portfolio
• Provide legal support on IP matters to stakeholders at all levels of the company
• Manage patent prosecution, trademark portfolio, copyright and patent litigation, and open-source compliance

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of IP-focused legal experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering/science
• Juris Doctor degree and member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
• Experience in the software industry, with machine learning and AI experience preferred
