Lead Internal Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Internal Auditor (Remote option).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assurance and advisory engagements to evaluate internal controls and operational effectiveness
• Oversee the development and follow-up of corrective action plans to address identified risks
• Coach and direct junior auditors while collaborating with leadership across the organization

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, accounting, finance, IT, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Certification as a Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional (CHIAP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) is required
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive internal audit or related experience, preferably in healthcare
• Expert knowledge of Global Internal Audit Standards and risk identification and mitigation
• Strong knowledge of data analytics and experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
