Lead ISSO Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead ISSO Manager to support cybersecurity and compliance for federal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise senior leadership on cybersecurity and compliance for major applications and systems
• Lead and supervise a team of ISSOs and junior security analysts
• Oversee the Risk Management Framework lifecycle and ensure compliance with federal mandates

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years in an ISSO or senior security role
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience
• Active certification(s) required: CISSP (current); CISSP-ISSMP or CISM (highly desired)
• Expert-level knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust Architecture
