Lead IT Architect

Job Summary

To support the development and maintenance of complex software systems, the full-time remote Lead IT Architect will design, code, test, implement, and support software solutions while collaborating with business analysts and customers to meet business needs effectively.

Key responsibilities:

• Research, compile, and evaluate information for the development and maintenance of large and complex systems to satisfy business needs
• Construct, modify, and test significant system changes while diagnosing and resolving complex software problems
• Provide thorough documentation for programming changes and enhancements, ensuring compliance with corporate standards

Required qualifications:

• Typically 13+ years of applicable work and/or technical experience in relevant programming languages and environments
• Post-secondary degree in Management Information Services, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; may substitute for up to 4 years of experience
• Technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certifications) are desirable and may substitute for some experience
• Recognized expertise in assigned areas of responsibility
• Experience with Life and Annuity systems and IBM mainframe environments is preferred
