Lead IT Security Architect

Job Summary

To enhance security architecture standards and support technology adoption, the full-time Lead IT Security Architect will work remotely from any EST or CST US-based time zone, focusing on securing enterprise information, performing security assessments, and consulting with IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain access governance segregation of duties process in collaboration with business and application teams
• Create security architecture standards for the adoption of new technology and identify security risks related to IT projects
• Develop management reporting dashboards to inform senior leadership about information security risk and exposure

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience with 3+ years as a security architect or in a related role
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and associated cybersecurity risks
• Ability to effectively partner with IT and business stakeholders and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• In-depth knowledge of information security practices related to PCI, SOX, HIPAA/HITECH, and OWASP application security
