Job Summary
As a Lead IT Systems Analyst (Software Asset Management) in a remote capacity, the successful candidate will manage software acquisition strategies, lead analysis for software renewals, and perform financial assessments to optimize Lumen's software investments exceeding $200 million annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to develop software acquisition and optimization strategies
- Lead analysis and recommendations for software maintenance and subscription renewals across a large enterprise software portfolio
- Perform financial, operational, and risk assessments to support informed decision-making and maximize return on software investments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of professional experience in software asset management or related IT procurement activities
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial and licensing data
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
