Lead IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To modernize and optimize identity management and employee technology experience, the full-time remote Lead IT Systems Engineer will oversee identity and access management, workflow automation, and virtual desktop infrastructure while driving operational efficiency and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage automated identity lifecycle processes, including user provisioning and role-based access controls
• Configure and optimize Jira workflows and automation rules to improve service delivery and request management
• Engineer and support virtual desktop infrastructure, ensuring a secure and scalable environment for users

Required qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience in IT engineering
• Strong experience with identity and access management platforms, including Okta and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience configuring Jira and Jira Service Management, with strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python
• Hands-on experience with virtual desktop infrastructure platforms such as Azure Virtual Desktop or VMware Horizon
• Ability to manage multiple technical initiatives and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment
