Job Summary

Seeking a Lead Java Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, this role will manage the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based enterprise software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions for the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full software development life cycle of cloud-based applications, ensuring high performance and scalability
• Design and develop cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot, integrating with REST/SOAP web services and databases
• Conduct code reviews and optimize applications for performance while promoting best practices in development standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development, focusing on high-performance enterprise applications
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Spring Boot, with experience in MySQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture
• Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
