Lead Java Software Engineer
Job Summary
As a fully remote opportunity, the Lead Java Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for enterprise payment solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational claims systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting enterprise payment solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to drive continuous improvement across the team
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of software development experience using Java and J2EE technologies, including Spring Boot and related frameworks
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservice architectures
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and modern software development practices
- Experience with relational databases and SQL development
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins
