Lead Kubernetes Engineer

Job Summary

To support enterprise-scale platform modernization, the remote Lead Kubernetes Platform Engineer will design, automate, and operate Kubernetes platforms across hybrid cloud environments, managing lifecycle processes and developing internal tooling for operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, automation, and operation of enterprise Kubernetes platforms
• Manage the lifecycle of EKS Anywhere Kubernetes platforms, including provisioning and upgrades
• Implement observability solutions and drive platform standardization and governance

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes environments, particularly with EKS and EKS Anywhere
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and cloud-native technologies
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS services, Terraform, and observability tools
• Experience with security controls and automation using HashiCorp Vault
