Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Long Term Disability Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of complex long-term disability claims, providing timely and accurate reviews and documentation
  • Analyze claim information, calculate benefits, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure thorough claims evaluations
  • Participate in coaching and mentoring new associates while supporting leadership in achieving project goals related to claims outcomes and customer service


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in LTD/IDI Insurance Claims
  • Proven customer service skills through internal and external interactions
  • Experience in independent judgment and decision-making based on available facts
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with knowledge of related laws and regulations
