Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Long Term Disability Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of complex long-term disability claims, ensuring timely and accurate reviews and documentation
• Compile detailed file documentation, analyze information for claims determinations, and calculate monthly benefits
• Collaborate with external and internal resources to gather necessary data and address escalated customer complaints

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in LTD/IDI Insurance Claims
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making
• Experience managing multiple systems and technology resources
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
