Lead Long Term Disability Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reassessment LTD Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a complex caseload of long-term disability claims, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely communication with stakeholders
• Compile and analyze documentation to make informed claims determinations and calculate benefits accurately
• Collaborate with external and internal resources to gather necessary information and resolve escalated customer complaints

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in LTD/IDI insurance claims
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making
• Experience in managing multiple systems and technology resources
• Organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred, with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
