Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Long Term Disability Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a complex caseload of long-term disability claims, ensuring timely and accurate reviews and documentation
• Compile and analyze detailed file documentation to determine necessary information for claims decisions and calculate benefits accurately
• Collaborate with external and internal resources to gather data and resolve escalated customer complaints effectively

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in LTD/IDI Insurance Claims
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making
• Experience managing multiple systems and technology resources
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
