Job Summary

Managing complex long-term disability claims, the full-time Lead Long Term Disability Claims Specialist will exercise independent judgment, mentor new associates, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate claim evaluations in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of complex claims, providing timely reviews and documentation while adhering to regulations
• Analyze information and calculate benefits due, ensuring thorough decision-making based on available data
• Participate in onboarding and mentoring of new associates, supporting leadership in achieving project goals related to quality and customer service

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in LTD/IDI Insurance Claims with a proven track record of customer service
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking in decision-making
• Strong organizational and time management skills while managing multiple systems and technology resources
