Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time remote Lead Machine Learning Engineer will architect and build robust systems for training, deploying, and monitoring Machine Learning and AI systems at scale while ensuring data quality and governance.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the development of Machine Learning products in partnership with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers
• Champion code quality and provide input on strategic architecture decisions for Machine Learning solutions
• Innovate with new approaches and stay updated on current research and technologies in the Machine Learning engineering community

Required qualifications:

• Completed BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 7+ years of experience building Machine Learning systems, with 2+ years in a technical leadership role
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Experience with MLOps practices, including automated model deployment and performance monitoring
• Ability to design and evaluate ML models while adhering to best practices in model selection and performance assessment
