Lead Mechanical CAD Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Mechanical CAD Designer specializing in power distribution products and data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs and diagrams using CAD software
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to modify existing designs and meet product specifications
• Prepare and revise engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and layouts for manufacturing release

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or relevant field
• 8 - 10 years of experience in Mechanical Design within the power distribution or Data Center Industry
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or similar)
• Experience with product lifecycle management systems (e.g., Windchill)
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes
