Lead Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on driving continuous improvement, the full-time Lead Mechanical Engineer will initiate design and development, support troubleshooting, and optimize processes in a manufacturing environment while ensuring safety and operational performance standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver equipment and processes that meet safety guidelines and operational performance expectations
• Lead major initiatives to improve asset performance and solve complex technical issues
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel on reliability projects and assist in troubleshooting complex issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 3+ years of industrial experience in technical or operational roles within a high-speed consumer product manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes
• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Experience with engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management
