Job Summary

Acting as the supreme technical authority for hydronic and mechanical infrastructure, the full-time Lead Mechanical Reliability Engineer will manage advanced forensic investigations, issue engineering design mandates, and conduct proactive fleet auditing to ensure compliance across Data Center sites.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead deep-dive thermodynamic and fluid-dynamic investigations to analyze critical fleet incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Review construction drawings and issue Engineering Change Orders based on forensic failure data
  • Conduct rigorous audits of Data Center operations to ensure adherence to maintenance standards and operational conditions
Required qualifications:
  • 10+ years of advanced mechanical industry experience or an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of experience in hyperscale data center infrastructure
  • Expert-level knowledge of critical system design, operations, and troubleshooting, particularly in data center cooling technologies
  • Proven analytical skills to identify systemic architectural flaws in critical infrastructure
  • Strategic leadership capabilities to create standards and programs for optimal data center operations
