Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Medical Records Technician (Outpatient and Inpatient).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and assist MRTs in coding accuracy and timeliness
• Train staff on ICD and CPT coding for accurate data capture
• Monitor workflow and provide coding guidance to ensure compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Experience in medical coding and health information management
• Knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Ability to analyze and resolve coding errors and discrepancies
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Completion of relevant medical coding training or certification
