Lead Microgrid Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Microgrid Engineer - Energy Storage and Generation Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide resilient and adaptable power system solutions utilizing various resource types
• Lead the design and development of installations for distributed energy resources, including solar and energy storage
• Manage engineering subconsultants and construction partners while serving as the Owner's Engineer throughout project lifecycle

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in providing Owner's Engineering services for power generation projects
• Design experience in areas such as Distribution, Substation Protection & Control, or Substation Physical
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including NEC and IEEE
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam
