Lead Network Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the architecture and deployment of network solutions, the full-time remote Lead Network Engineer will manage cloud network security architecture, perform network design upgrades, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of AWS Cloud systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Provide technical designs for infrastructure security, including VPN services and firewall configurations
• Diagnose and resolve routing and interconnectivity issues to maintain system availability and performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Network Security Management, Information Technology, or Computer Science
• 7+ years of proven experience as a Network Engineer, particularly with Cisco routing and switching
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Experience configuring Cisco ASA firewalls and managing firewall rules
• Familiarity with scripting using Python or Ansible for automation
