Lead Network Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of advanced network architectures, the full-time Lead Network Engineer will manage enterprise voice and data communications systems across on-premise and cloud environments while ensuring network integrity, security, and performance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, testing, and automated deployment of network architectures across various platforms
• Champion network automation and orchestration, developing frameworks to streamline network changes
• Develop and recommend network strategies that align with IT and business goals, participating in cross-functional planning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of seven years of progressive network engineering experience in a complex environment
• Proficiency in network automation and scripting, including Python and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Extensive knowledge of software-defined networking architectures and multi-cloud networking
• Experience with CI/CD workflows for network configuration management and automated deployments
