Lead Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer, Operations and Performance - Battery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and communicate system performance data to identify trends and potential issues
• Conduct operational assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop solutions that enhance asset performance and ensure regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in reliability engineering, power system analysis, or asset management, preferably in the electric utility industry
• Knowledge of NERC reliability standards and experience with ISOs and utility operations preferred
• Experience in the design, operation, and maintenance of power system assets
• Understanding of energy markets and locational marginal price formation
