Lead Outpatient Coding Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Medical Records Technician - Outpatient (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as lead resource for outpatient/professional coders on coding standards
• Review coding work, correct errors, and improve consistency and compliance
• Support training initiatives and help resolve audit findings and coding-related denials

Required Qualifications

• Must meet/exceed Outpatient Coder requirements
• Active certification (RHIT/RHIA/CCS/CCS-P/CPC) with 3+ years of experience
• Strong proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M coding
• Proven leadership and quality assurance capabilities
