Lead Payment Poster

Job Summary

Leading the Payment Posting and Refunds teams, the full-time remote Lead Payment Poster will manage workload, ensure accurate payment processing, and serve as the primary escalation point for related issues while driving operational efficiency and revenue cycle performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the timely and accurate posting of insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and denials
• Manage staff development, performance coaching, and operational oversight for the Payment Posting and Refunds teams
• Drive continuous process improvement through auditing, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration

Required qualifications

• 3-6 years of revenue cycle experience, preferably in radiology or physician practice billing
• Strong knowledge of payment posting processes, including EOBs, EFTs, ERAs, and payer reimbursement methodologies
• Thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payment practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
