Lead Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

As a senior subject-matter expert, the full-time remote Lead Payroll Analyst will manage complex payroll processes for North America and select LATAM operations, drive automation and process improvements, and serve as a trusted advisor across Finance and People Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing across the US, Canada, and LATAM, including the review and approval of payroll items
• Lead payroll audits, ensure compliance with regulations, and support quarter-end and year-end processes in Workday
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives while managing relationships with external payroll service providers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payroll and/or accounting, with exposure to US and Canadian payroll; LATAM experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with Workday payroll, including processing and configuration
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data reconciliation and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive efficiencies without direct management authority
