Lead PCB Designer

Job Summary

Owning the PCB layout process from concept to release, the Lead PCB Designer will work remotely or onsite to create multi-layer boards for battery management systems and power electronics, ensuring compliance with thermal and EMI standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer for various power electronics applications
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure production-ready hardware delivery
• Build and maintain component libraries and design rules while supporting debugging and rapid iteration cycles

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of PCB layout experience
• Strong expertise in Altium Designer
• Proven experience with power electronics and high-current/high-voltage layouts
• Solid understanding of IPC standards and thermal/current density considerations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
