Lead Pega Developer
Job Summary
Leading hands-on development for complex Pega workflows, the full-time remote Lead Pega Developer will guide sprint-level implementation for an enterprise Pega Cloud modernization effort within the Department of Veterans Affairs while actively engaging in development and mentoring junior developers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of complex Pega workflows, case types, and integrations
- Translate architectural designs into technical stories and coordinate day-to-day work across Pega developers
- Conduct peer reviews, mentor team members, and support integration design and defect resolution
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software or enterprise application development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Pega development
- Demonstrated experience in leading Pega developers while contributing actively to development tasks
- Advanced knowledge of Pega case management, workflows, and integrations
- Experience in Agile delivery, CI/CD, and production support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
