Job Summary
Providing comprehensive customer service to members of various benefit plans, the full-time Lead Pharmacy Customer Service Representative will analyze caller needs, respond to inquiries, and support the supervisor with training and performance assessments in a work-from-home environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and respond to complex inquiries regarding benefits and claims from policyholders, members, and providers
- Provide backup support to the unit supervisor, including training new representatives and monitoring performance
- Handle difficult calls and ensure accurate information is communicated professionally and efficiently
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One or more years of experience as a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative or equivalent customer service experience in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, prescription drug benefits, and claims processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and workforce management tools
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in handling sensitive information
