Lead Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Lead Platform Engineer, this is a full-time remote position responsible for leading the technical direction of a platform utilizing Kubernetes on AWS, focusing on infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technical direction and establish best practices for the platform
• Lead architectural improvements and resolve platform issues reported by application teams
• Coordinate engineering efforts across teams and mentor senior engineers

Required Qualifications

• Deep experience in a programming language such as Go, Java, Scala, Rust, Kotlin, or C#
• Extensive experience designing and operating production platforms at scale
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code, preferably Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD processes and strong networking fundamentals
