Lead Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance developer experiences through innovative AI tools, the full-time Lead Platform Engineer will build and integrate automated PR reviewers, code-quality gates, and codebase-aware agents into various engineering workflows, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and launch AI-powered developer tools for everyday use, focusing on automation and quality
- Integrate tools into platforms like Slack, Git, and CI/CD to streamline code delivery without compromising quality
- Measure and analyze tool adoption and performance metrics to continuously improve the developer experience
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and system design, with a focus on production services and developer tooling
- Advanced proficiency in Python and familiarity with at least one additional programming language such as TypeScript/JavaScript or Go
- Experience with CI/CD integrations, PR bots, and building internal developer platforms
- Hands-on experience with containers, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of GitHub or GitLab APIs and experience with code quality and application security tooling
