Lead PLC Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of PLC control systems, the full-time remote Lead PLC Engineer will manage complex projects, establish programming standards, and mentor engineering teams while ensuring high-quality execution and integration with SCADA and facility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of PLC control systems using Rockwell / Allen-Bradley platforms
• Establish and maintain PLC programming standards and best practices across projects
• Define system architecture and ensure consistency and quality through design reviews and code validation

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
• Strong expertise with Rockwell / Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000) platforms
• Proven experience designing and implementing control systems for HVAC or similar mechanical systems
• Experience with system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting in field environments
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP, OPC-UA)
