Job Summary

Overseeing the Pre Access staff and processes, the full-time Lead Pre-Access Specialist will ensure accurate pre-registration, insurance verification, and authorization for scheduled services while working remotely during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support assigned Pre Access Specialists to enhance patient and family satisfaction
• Collaborate with clinical partners to verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services
• Provide training and support for staff while maintaining proficiency in processes and seeking educational opportunities

Required qualifications

• Experience in patient access or healthcare administration
• Knowledge of insurance verification processes and authorization procedures
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to prepare reports and analyze workflow data
