Lead Product Designer

Job Summary

Leading the design for the new Dave Flex (BNPL) product, the full-time remote Lead Product Designer will evolve the offering from its early launch to a mature, high-impact solution, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to define product direction and design strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end design for the Dave Flex product, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals
• Develop new features and improvements while balancing speed, clarity, and member trust
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other designers, fostering collaboration and craft within the team

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience in fintech or scaled consumer products
• Proven track record of launching high-impact features or products for large audiences
• Strong portfolio showcasing problem-solving and systems-level thinking
• Deep expertise in mobile-first design and fluency in Figma and modern design workflows
• Experience designing credit, lending, or financial products is a plus
