Lead Product Designer

Job Summary

Leading a team of designers while also executing high-stakes design projects, the full-time Lead Product Designer will define the visual identity and design culture of the product in a fully remote environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own significant design projects from ideation to post-release iteration, ensuring quality and user-centric design
• Manage and mentor a team of 2-4 product designers, conducting performance reviews and fostering career development
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define problems, shape roadmaps, and advocate for user needs across the organization

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing digital products, with 3-5 years in a leadership role for social or consumer digital products
• Proven experience in managing designers, including hiring and performance evaluations
• Strong visual design skills and a solid portfolio showcasing shipped work
• Deep experience in building and evolving scalable design systems
• Proficiency in Figma, with experience in creating interactive prototypes
