Lead Product Designer

Job Summary

Owning the design for one of Circle's key product areas, the full-time remote Lead Product Designer will identify opportunities, set design direction, and collaborate with product managers and engineers to create seamless user experiences using AI-assisted tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own a product area end-to-end, identifying opportunities and shipping designs in collaboration with Product and Engineering
• Design complex, multi-step product flows that balance creator needs and member experience
• Prototype and test rapidly using AI-assisted tools, contributing to product strategy and influencing roadmap conversations

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating systems-level thinking and complex multi-user flows
• Experience as the most senior designer on a product area, making design decisions and owning outcomes independently
• Strong prototyping skills, with experience using AI-assisted prototyping tools
• Proficiency in Figma for high-fidelity design and collaboration
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas and influence decisions asynchronously
