Lead Product Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly analytical Lead Product Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of business-critical software solutions in a full-time remote capacity, this role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions while providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis sessions to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement while translating business needs into technical solutions
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and backend services, ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines
• Mentor and coach Product Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in a technical leadership role
• Expertise in PHP, SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience designing and developing web-based enterprise applications
• Healthcare technology experience, including knowledge of healthcare workflows and interoperability solutions, is preferred
