Lead Product Owner

Job Summary

Lead Product Owner, responsible for stabilizing and improving end-to-end Prior Authorization operations and technology/process integrations in a remote contract role for approximately seven months.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Prior Authorization program delivery across clinical, technical, and operational teams
• Lead requirements work by gathering, documenting, validating, and managing functional/non-functional requirements
• Track and improve Prior Authorization performance metrics such as turnaround time and denials

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field
• 15+ years in payer operations, healthcare delivery, or utilization management
• 8-10+ years as a Product Owner or equivalent in a payer/healthcare environment
• Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives
• Strong knowledge of FACETS, GuidingCare, and EDI 278
