Lead Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Product Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage application and software security, including vulnerability management and secure SDLC
• Oversee CI/CD and supply-chain security, ensuring hardening of GitLab pipelines and compliance with SLSA controls
• Lead product incident response, coordinating with engineering teams and managing post-mortem actions

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in product security or security engineering, particularly in software/AppSec
• Experience securing cloud environments, including Kubernetes and IAM
• Strong understanding of cryptography, PKI architecture, and key management
• Proficient in coding with Python, Bash, and Go, with the ability to automate controls
• Experience leading product incident response and mentoring engineers
