Lead Proposal Specialist

Job Summary

Experienced proposal professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Lead Proposal Specialist, responsible for managing the execution of federal RFx responses, including drafting proposal content, coordinating reviews, and maintaining compliance throughout the proposal lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Independently lead proposal efforts across the Shipley lifecycle, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements
• Draft, edit, and manage proposal content while coordinating with Subject Matter Experts for RFI and Market Research responses
• Maintain the proposal content library and oversee document management to ensure submission readiness

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of proposal experience, particularly in government contracting and solicitation requirements
• Bachelor's degree in English, Business, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• Proficiency with Adobe products (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator) and MS Office applications
• Training in Shipley and/or APMP proposal management processes is preferred
• Self-driven with a proactive approach to managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
