Lead Python Developer
Job Summary
Leading the technical planning and project management, the full-time Lead Python Developer will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, collaborating with architects and developers to transform designs into functional applications while providing mentorship and technical support in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical planning and requirements gathering, including estimation, development, testing, and project management
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor, fostering continual improvement and technical support within the team
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members across varying experience levels
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of application development experience with a strong focus on Python, PySpark, and Spark
- Experience with AWS and AWS Glue
- Client-facing or consulting experience is highly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a comparable major
- Solid foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
