Lead Python Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the contract-to-hire Lead Python Developer will work remotely to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using AWS services, while implementing CI/CD pipelines and providing technical expertise throughout the software life cycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality applications using Python and AWS services
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions for all development and production environments
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members while managing project status and timelines

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based systems, particularly with AWS
• Strong background in Python development and building analytic-focused applications
• Experience with containerization using Docker and implementing serverless architectures with AWS Lambda
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, including Jenkins and GitHub
