Lead QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and improving the quality assurance process across web and mobile products, the fully remote Lead QA Automation Engineer will maintain automated test infrastructure, manage manual QA efforts, and collaborate with Engineering leadership to define a scalable QA process.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and improve automated testing pipelines for media websites and mobile applications
• Define and enhance QA processes in collaboration with Engineering leads on release quality standards and defect triage
• Manage and mentor the existing manual QA tester while planning and coordinating manual QA work

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA experience, including hands-on testing of web applications
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining automated test suites for production applications
• 2+ years of experience with modern browser automation frameworks, preferably Playwright
• 1+ year of experience leading QA efforts and managing QA execution
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
