Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead QA Engineer to oversee their QA function and lead a team of quality engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers testing across multiple application teams
- Define and enforce QA best practices and standards throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Establish quality metrics and provide regular reporting to engineering and executive leadership
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong background in test automation frameworks such as Playwright or TypeScript
- Proven experience leading QA efforts in agile product development environments
- Deep understanding of API testing and backend validation techniques
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and their integration with automated tests
