Lead QA Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead QA Engineer to oversee the software testing lifecycle and maintain quality standards in their product.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for software applications
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Oversee the design and execution of automated test scripts and manage defect tracking

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Experience with both manual and automated testing practices
• Strong experience with QA tools and frameworks such as Selenium and JUnit
• Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or DevOps methodologies
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages and databases for backend testing
